Adam Mamawala is an award-winning 25 year old stand-up comedian based out of Hoboken, New Jersey. In 2007, he was the winner of the New Jersey Comedy Festival, a statewide competition to find the funniest college comedian in NJ, and most recently he was a semifinalist in the 2011 Boston Comedy Festival. Over the past two years, Adam has performed at over 70 colleges across more than 20 states, showcased at 4 NACA and 4 APCA conferences, played the House of Blues in Las Vegas, and opened for Joel McHale of NBC’s Community and E!'s The Soup! He was also recently named one of Funny or Die’s "Top 30 Under 30: Comedians to Watch", making a very exclusive list along with the likes of Amy Schumer and Hannibal Buress!
In 2012, Adam was named to Campus Activities Magazine’s Dean’s List as the second highest rated stand-up comedian with an average score of 4.84/5. Student Activities students and staff have described Adam as "a comedian whose act delivers more than his price and a ‘'must have' on campus", "a seasoned performer on stage - comfortable, confident and talented", and "funny, personable, and quick on his feet, an ideal college performer!"
